At Bend of the Bosque Herb Farm, you can relax and watch area wildlife come to native host plants and numerous feeders. The more adventurous can bring binoculars and cameras to explore more than one hundred acres of woodland and water.
The herb gardens attract more than 50 species of butterflies. Be on the look our for their larva, as well as Inca Doves, Black-chinned and Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
At the pond you will see dragonflies such as Roseate and Widow Skimmers. The pastures between the pond and river are protected habitat for pairs of Painting Buntings and Lark Sparrows which can easily be seen in the Juniper trees.
